Geneva, 1992An idea conceived aboard the night train from London to Inverness, Frederica Chapman imagined Nature in mask form. "What a wonderful way to help people deepen their relationship with Nature!"
Upon returning to Maine, Frederica worked closely with the gifted artist, Lois Stock, to render each Nature Mask. Ever since, The Nature Masks have journeyed to many places; they were chosen to be photographed in Geneva, Switzerland. They were invited to perform in Rio de Janeiro during the 1992 United Nations Earth Summit, and they have starred in schools, theaters, and many backyards, and natural settings.
